My practice is predominantly sculptural, often working from 3D back into 2D.

Time is at the core of my work. I am interested in the juxtaposition between organic matter and the industrialised world we live in, thinking about a world that is constantly changing and moving. I explore our relationship with the world and how I can capture the visceral emotion of being alive.

My process involves encapsulating and shaping materials, allowing the rhythm of my practice to take control of the making process. I use the body as a tool to create visual performances along the way, working with energy and instinct, stopping the process when it feels raw and momentous.

 I like to extract and abstract elements from our world and put them forward in a playful manner.
